A megjelenést követően a Nintendo hivatalos Youtube csatornája közzétett egy Nintendo Switch-es Crash Team Racing Nitro-Fueled gameplay trailert, amit lent meg is tekinthettek. Ezen kívül a játékkal kapcsolatban fontos hír, hogy megjött a játékhoz az 1.02-es Patch, amiről még csak annyit nyilatkoztak, hogy "bugfix", szóval sajnos nincs több információnk, de néhány livestream alapján úgy tűnik, megoldódott az online meccseken észlelt lagprobléma.
